Through Iddu, the volcano, and its spectacular eruptions, the island rumbles, puffs, breathes. Stromboli attracts people who have the courage to settle there without being deterred by Iddu. It is a black island, and red is the color of the Sciara del Fuoco, this snake of lava that flows down the side of the island opposite the village and reaches the sea. La Sciara is the name I gave to the perfume dedicated to this island. Just as Stromboli seems to firmly say: "I am here", the person wearing the perfume also asserts their presence – it's impossible not to feel its trail – and has the same courage as those who decide to settle on the island, the courage to make themselves heard. La Sciara is a perfume that seems to emerge from the bowels of the earth, a perfume that permeates us. This extrait embraces and enhances the top notes of tobacco, Indonesian patchouli, and cedarwood, highlights the heart notes of agarwood and sandalwood, and makes the amber and musk notes superb.
