History of the Perfume

It was the 1920s, in Florence, Guido Galardi, the patriarch, began experimenting with his first formulas in his small artisan workshop, collecting spigo (lavender) that ripened in the fields of the hills around the city.
His research took on various expressive accords: essential oils, scented solutions, fragrant sachets. These characteristics inspired and forged the brand Bottega Italiana Spigo 1920 (BOIS 1920), which, over time, gained prominence in Italy and worldwide, along with industry recognition.
It was 2012, and Bois 1920 was selected among the top five olfactory expressions at the Oscars of perfumery, the FiFi Awards in New York. Every single fragrance in the Bois 1920 line involves careful and precise study, and the result is the fruit of interwoven ideas and imaginations, materialization of concepts, and planning.
Starting from these fundamental premises, every single component that constitutes, differentiates, and qualifies the final product is to be understood as a work of art. Magnetic Mango by Olfattology is a unisex fragrance and was launched in 2024.
